DSC Mini 26: Jeff Winger!

Finally! We have reached the first of the Greendale 7!

Meet Jeff Winger.

Former lawyer forced back to community college to re-earn his degree to get his law license reinstated. 

Winger founded the"Study Group" which fell together mainly as a ploy for him to try and seduce fellow classmate Britta Perry. 

His first appearance was in the Pilot.

DSC Mini 25: Senor Chang

What to even say about former Spanish Professor, former head of Greendale Security, and all around unstable personality Ben Chang? Well at least he never blew up the school...oh wait...

First appeared in episode Spanish 101.

DSC Mini 22: Vicki!

"Vicki!" Is what she screamed as she ran into battle with pistols in both hands as they charged the ice cream truck.  The gatling gun mounted inside the truck unleashed rapid rounds of paint on the rushing platoon of Greendale students.

Sadly, Vicki was one of the first to fall, her first appearance was in Season one: 

Intro to Political Science.

I apologize for the tardiness of this weeks Community-centric DSC Mini, but I got tied up with preparations for yesterdays (Saturday March, 16th) first "Comics at Jen's".

It was a great time, and so much fun getting kids psyched up about comics and drawing!

DSC MINI 21:Fat Neil

It's Thursday again! You know that means another Community based DSC mini!

This week is Fat Neil, first introduced in the episode: "Asian Population Studies",

he is best known the episode: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.

Interesting trivia bit: The character of Fat Neil is named after former Community executive producer Neil Goldman.

Wedding gift progress! (yep...still on pencils).

It's Day Two. Pencils are coming along for the gift. On day three I hope to get the faces in, and by day four or five I hope to start on inks.

Check back to follow the progress of the art. 1.Sketch (Done) 2.Pencils(in Progress) 3.Inks 4.Color 5.Digital 6.End Product! In the future I'll also be asking help for decisions to make on details of the design like the title of the movie and other details.

First step into a new Blog.

Hi.

I'm Matt...and this is Drawsumthin Cool.

The official site. Ta-Duh!

Okay it isn't much to look at now. I still don't even have an actual URL, but I'm working on it.

This whole thing starts from the fact I needed to make some extra money to help with the bills, so I started drawing. Which is nothing new. Everyone who knows me knows I draw.

I draw a lot.

I've done comics, portratits, illustrations...yadda...yadda...yadda. But maybe for once I figured that all this stuff I've been doing could actually contribute to helping my family.

Yea...I also am an artist for my actual job, but that is production art. But you process all this artwork everyday that someone else has created and it depresses you that you didn't come up with it first.

I do have to give props to the one who actually gave me the idea.

Len of Jawbone Radio (a great podcast that you should check out), who started "Monster-by-Mail" was the inspiration for this model. So definately check him out...he's really cool.
