DSC Mini 22: Vicki!

"Vicki!" Is what she screamed as she ran into battle with pistols in both hands as they charged the ice cream truck.  The gatling gun mounted inside the truck unleashed rapid rounds of paint on the rushing platoon of Greendale students.

Sadly, Vicki was one of the first to fall, her first appearance was in Season one: 

Intro to Political Science.

I apologize for the tardiness of this weeks Community-centric DSC Mini, but I got tied up with preparations for yesterdays (Saturday March, 16th) first "Comics at Jen's".

It was a great time, and so much fun getting kids psyched up about comics and drawing!

Happy Birthday Jan!

We have started a new gift tradition with Em's parents.

We do a store bought gift, and then we do a home made gift.

This year Em and her sister purchased a lovely necklace, but we wondered what we would make for Jan. Em made a lovely pieces of artwork for her Dad, so we concluded why don't I get my butt in gear and contribute something. So now we have Jack, and his little cousin Kevin hanging out with Grandma on the couch.

DSC MINI 21:Fat Neil

It's Thursday again! You know that means another Community based DSC mini!

This week is Fat Neil, first introduced in the episode: "Asian Population Studies",

he is best known the episode: Advanced Dungeons & Dragons.

Interesting trivia bit: The character of Fat Neil is named after former Community executive producer Neil Goldman.

Learn to draw Comics!

Hey Kids....

I'm going to be teaching a "How to draw comics" class for kids.

If you have a young ward who may be interested:

When: The class is on March 16th, and registration ends on March 15th or until all the spots are filled!

Where: It's going to be at Jennifer's Pharmacy in Clayton. 30 North Central Ave. Clayton, MO.

How much: It's $25 dollars and snack are provided at the end!
